過保護は自己愛の表れだよ。
子どもと自分を同一視してるから出来る。

子どもは自分とは別人格と理解できてるまともな親は、
子どもがいずれ自立していくということを分かっている。
そういう親は成長過程のつまづきを恐れない。
子どもの痛みを理解した上で支えようとする。

でも過保護な親は子どものつまづきをダイレクトに
自分の被害（恥・恐れなど）として感じる。
自分と子どもの区別がついてないからね。
だから過保護になる。それって子に対する愛なのか？違うだろ。
自分に対する愛なんだよ。
